I have a G36 on one floor and have a CAT 5 that runs from that location to the second floor. I am trying to figure out how to have one SSID network that covers house and right now the G36 isnt doing it. I envisioned if I could have a wifi router hardwired to the G36 and then have another something on the second floor that is connected by the CAT 5 in the wall to either the G36 or the first floor wifi router? Any help would be appreciated what i should buy or do.
BEST WAY TO UTILIZE CAT 5 BETWEEN FLOORS

For poor Wi-Fi coverage, several factors like interferences from microwaves, concrete walls, etc., can play a role.
The G36 can cover up to 2,500 sq ft, depending on these interferences.
If your space is larger, we recommend getting a mesh system. You can visit our website to explore various products and their features, and make a purchase accordingly.
Please refer to the links below to view our mesh products, their features, and to purchase one at your convenience.
Note:
We recommend getting a dual pack if your space is larger.
If you're considering a mesh system, we suggest putting the G36 into bridge mode.
Bridge mode will disable the Wi-Fi features on the G36 and turn it into a cable modem. If it is a cable modem, only one of the Ethernet connections from the G36 will work, which should be connected to the mesh system. This will help prevent network interferences.
