Just got the g34 router trying to setup the mobile app I did activate it with xfinity have internet using the WiFi the app says it’s connected to router but when a little box pops up saying setting up mobile app another screen pops up saying lost connection to router even though I am still connected to router on WiFi and have internet I have tried hard resetting the router but get the same thing 

Could you please help us by providing the current LED light status on your G34? This will help us better understand the situation.

As you mentioned that you have an internet connection when connected to the network, we recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Please try reinstalling the Surfboard Central app on your device.
  2. Ensure that cellular data is turned off during the setup process.

While going through the setup, kindly choose the correct setup method by selecting ‘Surfboard Gateway - ISP cable connected with integrated Wi-Fi’.
