Hi, my SB8200 is about 3 years old. My ISP is supplying 500 mbps but I’m barely getting 200. Cox’s answer is that my modem is outdated and should be replaced. They will basically not do anything to help. I’m no expert and I realize things get outdated, but I don’t think that’s the case. Looking for opinions, some advice. Should I replace my modem?

It shouldn’t have any problem saturating up to gigabit.

Disconnect the sb8200 from the router (reboot the modem) and then connect a pc/laptop directly to the modem and test it. Post what speeds you get on here.
Many times we find its the router causing the issues.

So just want to check if the modem is getting full speeds
