I installed a new surfboard SB8200 modem with a EEros wifi mesh system to replace my rented modem from Spectrum.

Everything installed smoothly and everything wifi works good except for my Honeywell wifi thermostat. I have a Honeywell T6 wifi pro thermostat. I used to be able to control it from my phone. But ever since I got the new modem it doesn’t seem to work.

I called Honeywell support and we figured out the thermostat is not receiving an IP address. So they told me to call my cable (Spectrum) provider who told me everything is working fine. So I called Honeywell support again and someone new told me to contact the modem support.

Is there a solution for this issue?

Thank you

Since the thermostat should be connected to the wifi network you need to make changes on  the wifi settings or its configuration so you need to check with the router manufacturer only.
