I recently switched service providers but I am still showing my old one on the app. How do I change this and is it affecting my wifi?

Showing different service provider on the surfboard central app will not affect the router. To change the service provider on the SBC app you will be having option to delete the account on the app you can try and start the setup again at that time you can change the service provider on the app then proceed with the setup.
