I need help! I’m moving to a new home and my mom gave me her old modem but I do not see a reset button on this modem, I used to have one ARRIS device that had that button on the back but I do not find any buttons on this modem, please help!!!

First, congrats on the new home!  A couple of other items to call out is that since your mom is giving you this device, make sure that her provider has completely removed it from her account, if not, it may cause some headaches when you try and use it.  Once you plug it in at your new place, you will need to call your provider (or most ISP’s have an app📲 or something that you can activate it on) to get it activated on your account, they may ask you for the HFC MAC address.

Also, make sure that the SB6183 is compatible with the speed tier that you are going to sign up with, you don’t want to be paying for speeds that you can’t use.
