I recently purchased an SB6190 and it seems to be working fine but I’m a little concerned about how warm it gets. If I aim an infrared thermometer at the top I get a reading of 103 - 106 degrees and roughly 85 degrees on either side. If I place my hand on the top it’s quite warm but not what I’d describe as hot though definitely warmer than any modem I’ve owned in the past. Is this normal for these units ? Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

SB6190 - Modem is getting warmer

If the modem is too hot to touch, then I would suggest visiting www.arris.com/consumersupport for further assistance.
If it's warm, that would be very normal behavior.
