I receive daily calls from another Xfinity customer who has an X1 gateway. I have an Arris T25. When the calls are made to me, the caller’s ID shows up on my phone and TV screen, but when I answer the phone, I hear nothing. The caller doesn’t hear me answer and says all he hears is the phone continuing to ring. But I can call that same Xfinity customer without a problem and we both make and receive calls involving third parties.
Anyone have similar experiences with the T25 and Xfinity and, if so, how was the issue fixed? Seems like an Xfinity system issue rather than the modem, but I thought I would check. Thanks.
