Forgot forgot password

Best answer by SURFboard Moderator

If you've forgotten your Wi-Fi password, there are two ways to retrieve or reset it:

  1. Check via the GUI Web Portal:
Connect your computer to the modem using an Ethernet cable. Then, access the GUI web portal by entering 192.168.0.1in your browser's address bar. From there, you can view or update your Wi-Fi settings, including the password.

  2. Factory Reset the Modem:
If you’re unable to log in, you can perform a factory reset on the modem. This will restore all settings to default, including the Wi-Fi name and password. You can then reconnect to the Wi-Fi using the default Wi-Fi credentials printed on the sticker at the bottom of the modem.
