Could you please specify which Wi-Fi network you're trying to connect your computer to, or are you attempting to hardwire the modem?

If you're using Wi-Fi, which network are you trying to connect to? Are the Wi-Fi networks visible in the list of available networks on your computer?

I finally got in G34-450D. I had to set up Manually and I am not sure how I did it.

However, it does not open certain websites including Yahoo.mail. Also under Settings Specifications it tells me is transmitting only 72 Mbps. I thought it would be faster than that!. I am having trouble opening websites because it blocks them saying they are unsecured.  It never happened with my Netgear. I have spent hours trying everything trouble shooting article Icould find online. This too much time spend on an router obviously is more trouble and slow. If you could help me, but if not I will return it and buy a Netgear.

Thank you.

Instead of manually setting up a network on your computer, connect to your existing home network from the list of available networks. If you're unable to connect to the existing network, you may need to adjust the security mode on your Wi-Fi network. You can do this either through the Surfboard Central app (if you have it set up) or via the web access interface (GUI).

Please refer to the provided link for detailed steps on how to change the security mode on your Wi-Fi network.

After connecting to the network, verify that you can access websites. For your information, the G34 router operates on two bands: 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The 2.4GHz band offers greater coverage but lower speeds, while the 5GHz band provides higher speeds but less coverage. The actual speeds may vary depending on the client devices.
