Spectrum has me unplugging the G34 from power at least twice a day. They came out and said it’s the Arris issue?

In the title, you mentioned that the G34 experiences connection drops. Does this issue occur with both Wi-Fi and hardwired connections?

Also, could you please let us know the speed plan you are subscribed to with your internet service provider?

I hardwired it and the issue is resolved. I can not forever only do this temporarily. Cords are hanging obverse doors. My computer is less than 30’ away. Spectrums fastest available

Please make sure that your subscribed internet speed plan does not exceed 1 Gbps, as the G34 is only compatible with speeds up to 1 Gbps.

If the hardwired connection is working fine, the issue might be due to interference on the Wi-Fi frequencies.

To reduce interference and congestion, make sure the gateway is placed at a higher elevation and in an open space.

We also recommend changing the Wi-Fi channels if the gateway is in an open area. For instructions on how to change Wi-Fi channels, please refer to the link below.
