I bought a simple range extender. Can I use it without switching to bridge mode? Why can’t I find it in my network? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Can I connect a range extender to an SBG8300 modem/router by enabling bridge mode?

Extenders should be connected to your modem WIFI network only then you can get the network name on your devices to connect to the extender WIFI network. No need of enabling bridge mode or Switches to setup extender with SBG8300.
