app doesn’t reflect correct modem sb8200

Surfboard identifies my modem as a Motorola sb 6121 and my modem is an Arris sb8200. If that is wrong how can I trust anything else the app displays?

are you getting the speeds you pay for? 

Does it display correctly if you log in through the browser? 

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
