I just had this activated last night and having some channel issues and only the downstream light is blue. The upstream light is green. Spectrum  says they don’t see any problems. Is this normal?

Then you’d need to check with the ISP as there’s something going with the line.

After bypassing the router and going straight to the pc, channel 24 appeared and is “Unlocked” at 0Hz, 25 is now “Locked” and channel 23 is still showing “Other” under “Modulation”. Weird stuff

usually indicates an issue with the line.

Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
If you can, simply connect the modem right where the coax comes into the home. This prevents wiring in the home from being the issue. And some ISP’s charge if the wiring issue is in the home. So this helps prevent this.

No splitters, amps or attenuators. It’s hooked up directly where the cable comes in.
