Intermittent internet connection on SB8200

SB8200 keeps dropping internet blue light goes out all lights are green no internet I have had isp provider out 3 time tech says it’s the modem

Are you checking on the device connected to the modem directly like computer or laptop or using router?

Could you please help us with the details of the trouble shooting that you performed on the modem

To check further we need to look for the modem signal so please do follow the steps mentioned on the below article to check the signal level on the modem.

I did all of that with a arris tech and a ISP provider tech modem will not push firmware being replaced under warranty .

ARRIS develops the software update and makes it available to service providers.  The service providers qualify, test, and distribute the software update to devices on their network.  ARRIS has limited control or visibility on distribution by the service providers.

Regarding the Led light status, green color indicates DOCSIS 3.0, and blue color indicates DOCSIS 3.1.

If the Led light is changing automatically DOCSIS 3.1 operation (high-speed Internet access) which may not be available in all locations. Check with your service provider for availability in your area.
