Online Light blinking on SVG2482AC

I’ve had my SVG2482AC Modem for about five years.  Just now, the WiFi isn’t working.  I did the following troubleshooting:

  •  Checked for XFinity outage in my area and there is none.
  • Swapped out the coax cable coming from the wall to the back of the modem.  Made sure connections were firm.
  • Power cycled the modem
  • Relocated the power to a different outlet.

None of these worked to restore my WiFI.  Any idea what could be causing this and I would appreciate some suggestions.  Thanks

Could you please provide your subscribed internet speed plan? Also, are the first three LED lights on your modem steady, and are the network names broadcasting?

My current plan with XFinity is 800 mbps.  The Power, US/DS and Online lights are solid as of now.  Sometimes the Online light blinks.

My network name is not currently displaying.

Comcast came out and determined that the speed coming into the building was too fast and that there was a splitter in line outside that was causing the dropout.

He did some re-wiring and voila.  All good now.
