Just hooked up my S33 and had it activated through Xfinity. I connect to my WiFi router and works great. However,  when I unplug from router and hook my modem directly to my laptop, it says unidentified network and it will not connect to the internet. Any suggestions?

Try restarting the S33.  The modem needs a reboot to sync with the new device when you’re switching devices.
