Question

SB8200 reboots randomly

Forum|alt.badge.img

I have a new sb8200 after replacing my SB6190 after hearing of a chipset problem. Just as my sb6190 did my sb8200 is rebooting randomly through out the day. Talk to ISP they said oh its cause you have 3 different mac ids on account so he cleared them thinking that would work, it didnt. I have a tech coming out to look at the connection speeds because they are low. I also get this message in the modem log “ Missing BP Configuration Setting TLV Type: 17.2;CM  “ with an date that is way off.

Update: service tech came and tested my lines from modem to tap on pole. He first said the line that was replaced last year was bad so he replaced that and was still getting low signal so he said he had to call a line tech and they would be out in a few hours to a few days. Ill keep you posted.
