I have the SB6183 modem during installation it askes me to connect the ethernet to my laptop to get modem online but I do not have that port on my laptop. What can I do?

You can call the isp and have them provision it based on the mac address. Then you don’t have to connect a laptop to it for activation.
Or you could buy a usb/ethernet adapter from amazon. they’re pretty cheap and nice to have around for issues like these
