Hey I’m considering on purchasing the W6B, will I need to keep my WiFi service with Spectrum or just buy a modem?

You can keep the WIFI service with spectrum since the W6B is compatible with all brand router and modem.
Wi-Fi service is mandatory to connect W6B with spectrum.
Since W6B is the extender, gateway device is required to connect with it.
