W6U Admin Password to access GUI web portal.

I reset my w6U on Saturday, added it to my set up via Surfboard Central, and it has a blue light.  That process provides me with a password to join the WiFi 6 network.  (Off topic, my iPhone 16 struggles to join said network using the credentials provided.)

 

I wanted to go in via the web interface and check firmware. I can’t find any documentation with the default admin login / pw.  Even the 36 page “manual” in the Surfboard app omits this information.

 

How do I find this information?

There is no support to access the GUI web portal on W6U. I would suggest using  the SBC app.

Surprising that the W6U doesn’t have a web gui but the W6B does. 

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
