I just found out this modem I currently have has been discontinued. Do I need to get a new one now and if so what's the steps I need to take to get that started?

If your current modem meets your needs, you can continue using it. However, if you experience any internet issues, we recommend contacting your Internet Service Provider for assistance. If you’re looking to future-proof your setup, consider upgrading to a DOCSIS 3.1 model.
