I have an SBG6580. I use the admin username and motorola for the password and get to the screen prompting me to change my password. I enter admin for the username again and motorola for the existing password, then enter the new password and confirm it, but then I get an error saying invalid password. My password meets all the criteria listed.

did you try to change your password multiple times?
Sometimes, changes take effec inmediately and if we continue changing the password then the system will not detect your password
I would try a power cycle of the SBG6580, clear cookies and cache on my browser and try again but changing the password once and then closing the browser and try to access again the 192… but using the new password I’ve created
If you attempt to access but you are getting an error saying the password is incorrect I would try a factory reset and try the steps I mentioned before
