Hi, I am going to purchase either the G20 or the G34. From what I’ve read the G34 is the better one, but it’s $50 cheaper than the G20, so I’m confused as to why the pricing isn’t the other way round.  I don’t need the extra two Ethernet ports and my apartment is only 600 square feet, so the G20 would be better, but it’s $50 more.

Can anyone explain why the G34 is cheaper? In simple terms as I find it hard to get my head around all the info 😊

thank you in advance

When comparing the G20 and G34 models, there are a few key differences:

  • Wi-Fi Coverage:
The G20 offers coverage of up to 1,250 sq ft, while the G34 can cover up to 2,500 sq ft.

  • Speed Plan Compatibility:
Both gateways are compatible with internet speed plans up to 1 Gbps.

  • Warranty:
    The G20 comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, whereas the G34 includes a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Supply/demand? I’d go the G34 with it being cheaper.
