Looking for best gigabit speed router modem for optimum cable service

    Are you using phone service or just internet?

    Other wise you just need a docsis 3.1 compatible device. You can look for modems that are only gigabit or multigigabit if you prefer. 

    Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
