I am trying to enable the built in MoCA adapter on my SBG6782-AC arris surfboard. I follow the instructions on this article: https://arris.my.salesforce-sites.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/SBG6782-v8-4-x-MoCA-Setup

However, on the web interface when I customize the settings to enable the built in MoCA adapter, most of the lights on the router turn off, and it stops working and I cannot connect to it or get back into the web interface. I have waited over 30 minutes and the router still was not working. The only way I was able to fix it was by factory resetting it, but then the MoCA setting was disabled again. Anyone know how I can turn it on and still have the router work?

SBG6782-AC is a legacy device and the MoCA option is no longer supported on this unit so setting up the MoCA on your modem will not help in any of your modem configuration. Modem will work normally without MoCA as a router and cable modem.
