I am trying to hookup my modem to a coax circuit that already has service and a modem with AT&T. AT&T support has said that I should be able to hook the modem up and it will work. However I am getting an Xfinity activation pop-up, which is the ISP I had previously.

I am not sure what the issue could be, but can these modems be pre-programmed for a specific ISP? I bought this a while ago and do not remember what I had done at the time.

If this is just not possible to do then that would be helpful info as well.

In this case we would suggest you to contact your service provider to confirm whether the cable line that you are using to connect modem to get internet is the one provided by your service provider. If you are using tech coax line provided by Xfinity then you will be getting the same error. so please do reconfirm with your service provider about the coax line that you are using.
