Unable to factory reset SBG6900-AC

My family and I are currently trying to reset our modem/router because we wanted to modify some of the settings. We followed the reset instructions per the manual(press reset button, hold for 15s) but attempts to login into the IP redirects the browser to 192.168.0.1/login.asp. I don’t know if this is the correct redirect page. But, the actual content of this page is an SSL certification error.

 

We’ve called ARRIS phone support but they were unable to help our predicament and concluded the system itself was faulty. Would it be possible to have the software reinstalled or something else to fix it?
