I recently purchased a SBG6580 thru a previous owner because I needed something simple for my new place. I am trying to figure out how to lock my security but needing help with the username and password on the 192.168.0.1. Does anyone know the general way to login so I can secure my device?

The username is usually admin. Try motorola or password for the password. They’re both all lower case letters.
If they don’t work, it might have been changed and you’ll need to hard reset to factory defaults by pressing the small reset button for 15 seconds on the back of the SBG6580 .
