TM3402A activated by the ISP, appears to function normal.

After 4 to 6 hours the Ethernet connection cuts off ?

Computer is powered down.

ISP sent signal to Modem to reboot…..resulting in the ethernet break.

Pressing the Reset button, after 15 second a single LED flash….then the unit is dead.

Only a power down and up, brings is back to life.

Appear help appreciated.


TM3402A is not supported by Arris. Arris supports only the retail products that are available on surfboard.com but not the ISP lease products. Since you have done all possible trouble shooting we would suggest you to contact your ISP for the same.


Thanks...learned the CX on the model number related to working on the COX network.

Will now try a T25 on my local Optimum network.  I will post results in a few days.
