My dog’s Halo collar is having connectivity issues and the recommended fix is changing the channel on our router. Model number is DG6450.. I can’t find the “Wireless Settings” tab on the menu to access the channels. Can you tell me how to change the channel on our router?

How do I change the password for my Wi-Fi modem? My Internet provider is Xfinity and they said they cannot do it for me as the modem is not one of theirs. Thank you.

Hello, I have this router purchased in 2017 and I bought the new connection of internet but after activated internet this router is not activated and I am seeing it is offline in my internet mobile app. I need to know Is that modem activated or not? or what is the issue? I have cox internet service, the modem I have has been working great. Recently cox sent me information telling me it was out dated. I had 1GB service for years. Cox has upgraded to 2GB service and now my modem barley get to 100gb downloads. My streaming services will quit working. Cox tells me I need new modem to fix issue. I am only paying for 500GB service and barley use 300 GB per month.

I have a G36 on one floor and have a CAT 5 that runs from that location to the second floor. I am trying to figure out how to have one SSID network that covers house and right now the G36 isnt doing it. I envisioned if I could have a wifi router hardwired to the G36 and then have another something on the second floor that is connected by the CAT 5 in the wall to either the G36 or the first floor wifi router? Any help would be appreciated what i should buy or do.

Hello I tried accessing the management interface by entering 192.168.1.1 in my browser, but the system prompted me to enter a serial number. I entered the serial number on the device, but it kept saying it was incorrect. Yes, I tried using the default username and password, but the system still asked for the serial number. I used a paperclip to hold the reset button on the device for about 10 seconds until it restarted. Then, I tried logging in with the default username and password. The issue still persists after the reset. Please help me resolve this problem.

I would like to change my wifi name and password. I no longer have the software that came with the router. I have attempted to change my settings by entering my IP address and Router IP into a search engine, but I am unable to login in with my username and password. How can I change my wifi name and password? I am also unable to login to the surfboard app to change settings that way.

I returned/refused delivery on a modem on February 5, 2025 and confirmed receipt of product by Arris on February 19, 2025. I was told to expect a refund within 2 weeks of 2/19/25. I called on 3/5/25 to check on refund status and was told it was expedited and I should receive email confirmation. No message received. I called on 3/6/25 and was again assured it was expedited and I should receive a phone call. Still waiting for a phone call. In spite of confirming my email address multiple times, I have never received an email, not even confirmation of my original purchase on 1/31/25.

I have an SBG7580-AC wifi gateway running firmware {edit : personal information} (Xfinity is my ISP since a few months ago.) Does this firmware version correct the WPA2 security vunerabilities exploited by KRACK or do I need to acquire another wifi gateway model that supports WPA3?

Post after post after post says you cannot put 192.168.0.1 and get to the admin login page any more. There used to be a Firefox work around and everyone keeps posting that as the solution. IT DOES NOT WORK. No matter what browser I used including Safari IT WILL NOT WORK. Does ANYONE know how to login the modem as of today 12/29/2024? My modem is a SBG6900-AC but that doesn’t matter because based on the comments many different Arris modems are having the same problem. Unplugging it doesn’t work, factory resetting it doesn’t work. NOTHING WORKS. And why isn’t Arris doing something about it. Apparently no browser due to security reasons will let us log in to our modems because we have an old protocol or something.

I have a SURFboard® DOCSIS 3.0 modem connected to my ISP, and want to extend my network using a SURFboard® SBG7580-AC Wireless Gateway. Can I connect the SBG7580-AC to the DOCSIS 3.0 modem by wifi or do I need an ethernet cable to get internet through the SBG7580-AC ?

I understand my ISP should update my firmware on my Sbg6782-ac. I am curious as to how current my firmware is. My firmware currently is SBG6x82-8.6.0.0-GA-08-046-NOSH. If current, just how old is it? 6 months or years ago? I dont seem to be getting the speeds I should be getting and get a lot of stops and starts. I know I have had this modem for a long time…maybe I wore it out…

I have an android tv box that won't connect to my surfboard

I have forgotten my username and password to access my router. I need access to the router. I have tried to reset it on the back of the modem to default. No luck

One day, my router stopped showing up on the networks list, but the phone line it's tied to on the ethernet still works. I quickly verified the antenna wasn't working, so we used these range extenders for a bit. They randomly dropped the connection all the time, so today I tried turning it on in settings, but when I go to any menu in the wireless section, my browser gives an ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. Is this some over-the-air mass brickery? Unlikely. Does anyone have any solutions?
