are you trying through the app? through the browser? 

How did you set it up? 


Browser link. Xfinity got it working with me while I was on the phone with them.

but i still need to log in to it and chaNGE MY PASSWORD AND MY NAME OF IT?

 


did you log in through the app or tried through the browser? 

try going to 192.168.100.1

If you already set it up, factory reset it and start over


I did get into it and change it all the link was shown as no good and my firewall would not let me in to it once i passed through them i got in.  now another ? why can I not log into the 5g part i set up?

 

 


Some older devices don’t support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Try connecting with a different device to see if it’s an issue with just one.

If your router has a setting for "band steering" or a single SSID for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, your device might be defaulting to 2.4GHz. Try disabling that feature and setting separate SSIDs for each band. Also,

  • Ensure the 5GHz band is enabled.
  • Check the security mode (WPA2/WPA3 is best, but some older devices might not support WPA3).
