I have the latest 1.05 Firmware upgrade on my G36 router and the internet is constantly dropping 4 to 5 times a day.  The only thing that fixes the connection is a hard reboot of the router.  I can still see devices on the local network but internet connectivity is lost.

Working from home makes this very FRUSTRATING!

Any solutions in sight other than trashing this router?

 

 

Since you are experiencing with intermittent internet connection, I suggest you to check the Wi-Fi channels and monitor the performance for the next 24hours of time.

Also I suggest you to Re provisioning the modem since the firmware version is updated recently.

 


It is not the WI-FI dropping, it disconnects from the internet whether it is hard wired or wi-fi.

Re provisioning is reactivate the modem or deactivate the HFC mac address and reactivate the same by your internet service provider.
