They’re right. the G34 doesn’t have telephone service. 

options?

1. return it and get one compatible with telephone service
2. subscribe to a voip service so you can get a landline through your ethernet. (tends to be cheaper anyway)
3. get rid of the land line. Most people have cell phones anyway. 

Thanks for your response.  I bought the G34 for $50 on eBay.  It can’t be returned.  We both have cellphones, and I could care less about the telemarketers calling us on the landline.  Best wishes!
