So, my question is, can the G34 be connected to Xfinity voice?

I bought an Arris G34 to connect to Xfinity. Xfinity tells me that I can't get telephone voice service with it. Please advise.

They’re right. the G34 doesn’t have telephone service.
options?
- return it and get one compatible with telephone service
- subscribe to a voip service so you can get a landline through your ethernet. (tends to be cheaper anyway)
- get rid of the land line. Most people have cell phones anyway.

Thanks for your response. I bought the G34 for $50 on eBay. It can’t be returned. We both have cellphones, and I could care less about the telemarketers calling us on the landline. Best wishes!
