Had to upgrade to new ROUTER/MODEM. G34. Network test results : "HP printer is unable to connect to your wireless router". My MAC filtering IS turned off. DIAGNOSTICS RESULTS show everything good, EXCEPT under settings: no filtering  -FAIL.

I am also having this problem with two devices. The first is my HP Photosmart 7525 which goes through the process of setting up, but also does not connect.

The second is a Toshiba Satellite L855 Laptop. It does not even see the Surfboard via WiFi.

They’re both older machines, but I expected this to be backwards compatible.

I found the answer, at least for my problem. I switched the Security mode for my 2.4 GHz to “WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES)” In the manual, this is recommended. I do not know why it is therefore not the default?
