I had recently  purchased and installed a Surfboard G36 for Xfinity service. Earlier I had a older model of Surfboard and connection kept dropping. So, I ended up increasing to 1Gbps service with G36 with a hope of having an uninterrupted network. But it has been terrible even with G36 and I have to restart the modem multiple times in a day. We understand the issue that your having but to help you on this further could you please help us with the cable signal level of the downstream and upstream by following the steps mentioned on the above article.
