Good Day everyone: I recently upgraded my Cable Router and chose the G36, and have been pretty pleased with it so far. I have traditionally connected my laser printer to my Cable Router so that computers across the network, hardwired and wireless devices, could easily print to the Canon laser printer.

I have plugged in the printer via an ethernet cable to the router, and I can’t find it, I can’t add it, and wireless printing is also unavailable. What setting on my G36 am I overlooking? Please help!

Hello adamtmccoy,

Please access the below link and follow the steps

Make sure you disconnect or disable Printer’s WiFi.

Check for Ethernet port led activity on the G36 and the printer to ensure connectivity.

Check your printer setting to see if the wired connection is getting 192.168.0.x address, it should be getting it from the G36.  If you get an address, use it to add printer on your devices.
