Can't login to 192.168.0.1

No matter what i try with the correct name and password it says session expired and i cant login with chrome firefox or edge to access my modem and change passwords etc etc

Arris supports only the retail products that are available on surfboard.com but not the ISP lease products. Please contact your ISP for further assistance.

What device do you have? 

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps

ARRIS model TG3442 whatever I try it doesn't let me go further than the sign in page.

Have you checked with the ISP? That seems to be a device directly supplied to ISP’s. they might have their own settings/setup on it
