SBG10

Hello. I recently bought a TP-link RE200 range extender. I had no trouble setting it up and extending my 2.4 and 5G home Wi-Fi networks from my SBG10 router. However, the extended networks don't have Internet. I've tried manually setting IP address, DHCP, I've gone into the router's control page and input the extender's MAC address, made sure that the settings allowed for external device connections, nothing has worked. I have spent many hours over the past week with customer service at TP-Link and my ISP, and no one can seem to help me, and wouldn't you know it, my Arris Surfboard warranty just ended a couple months ago so their tech support won't help me. Does anyone know anything about this issue?

My ISP is Xfinity and I am using an SBG10. This has been driving me up a wall for months. My Windows11 laptop cannot reach Apple’s servers to authenticate to iCloud unless I turn off the SBG10 Firewall. This is independent of whether I use Chrome, Edge, DuckDuckGo, or Apple’s iCloud app. (Disabling Windows Defender and firewall also had no effect.) I CAN however connect the laptop to my phone’s hotspot (also Xfinity) and get to iCloud. I can also use my old Windows 10 computer from my SBG10 Wi-Fi to get to iCloud. (Not a good workaround anymore since that machine is on it’s last legs and needs to be retired.) Is there some secret incantation I need to learn if I want to keep the SBG10 firewall on?

My SGB10 modem is connecting to all my devices except my Chromebook book. My Chromebook keeps saying the network is out of range but the modem is only 4ft away from the Chromebook. I have Xfinity Wi-Fi, my fire stick, Roku and phone are all able to connect to the Wi-Fi. I bought a USB wireless adapter that goes up to 6g but still the Chromebook will not connect.

I have an SBG10. Have forgotten password. Have looked at many responses. Still don't know what to do.

For some reason I cannot access non Google products through my WiFi connection with the arris Sbg10. LG smart tv with Roku stick won’t connect, apps on iPhone won’t open and certain websites aren’t working. Has anyone else had this issue?

Needed to do a factory reset and when I try to login with default username and password it says I’ve been locked out due to number of attempts. Please advise

Surfboard SBG10 turned off while I was working and won't turn back on. Outlet is working. unplugged for 1 min.

I found my IP address and made my way to the login page for arris routers. I used admin and password as my wife didnt think she changed them when she first set it up. It said the login credentials were wrong. I searched how to reset those credentials. I found information that recommended that I reset the router. I tried that and went to the login page. It showed that my router was updating but the login info was still incorrect (admin and password). Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or where I can go from here? Goal: check for updates, remove old devices, double check security settings etc.

Modem SBG10. I’m resetting my Vizio TV and need password. Do I use WiFi key? I’ve tried to but keeps saying it’s invalid

I'm having a problem with my internet last Monday my internet stopped working I called the customer service and still nothing is working I unplugged the box numerous times and still nothing. What can I do to solve this and this morning I called the customer service and they saying that it's closed so what can I do????

Just activated the modem through Xfinity. When trying to connect it on our TV or laptop, it asks for password? I can’t find any password on the back of modem or inside the box it came in. Now what?

Can't connect eufy camera

HI, the SBG10 modem will not connect to my work computer. All other devices are connected without incident. I’m using the factory password and on the computer, it says the password is invalid. It’s a brand-new computer. My IT department has reset/updated all drivers. It still won’t connect. I have comcast and I’ve already called them, and everything is fine on their end. Help!

All devices connected to SBG10 but cameras won’t connect.

For some reason none of the devices show up on my app so I am not able to pause/ remove unwanted devices. Please help

My wifi has been seup for about two years now and I had no issues logging in with the old app. But now whatever I try, the new app doesn’t let me migrate because it thinks I’m not connected to the network even though I am. And the only other options are to “activate the network” which it has been for a while.

My SBG10 keeps dropping WiFi. If I reboot it it will come back up, but it’s been doing it a lot lately and I called my cable company and it not at their end. I think it’s a problem with the modem. Any ideas?

Model arris SBG10 telling me my log in credentials have changed. Please help, I cannot access the menu for the update.

TENGO un equipo recién comprado y no se conecta. No ay apoyo técnico. Cuando llame en la tarde apoyo tecnico no me asistio el empleado no habla español no ay traductor no cuentan con ese servicio . Su ayuda es únicamente en ingles. Y les pregunto...Como resuelvo esta situación. Que hago para poder conectar el módem. A l podría ayudarme ?

SBG10, I’m locked out. How do I get past that? I can't remember my login or password. I have also done a factory reset. used admin and password to try and reset new password but tells me my old password is wrong or says error try again

I can’t setup a password for the guest WiFi in order to setup the Ring camera. On the ARRIS SBG10 doesn’t give me the option

I’ve tried connecting with the WPS Settings through the GUI but it’s not connecting for me there. Can someone help me?!?
