t25 from xfinity on optimum

Spent many hours on line/ on phone with Optimum trying to get a T25 xFinity working.

Can anyone provide me with the correct reference/ firmware etc…..to I can get the Optimum (NY)

tech team updated ?     From other posts it seems this should work.

 

Modem gets “Activated” by Optimum, goes through 3 cycles of reset (updates).

At that point the LED indicates it is ON LINE…..however no connection is made to my computer or router.

T25  Model #  613587-003-00  ( has a HFC MAC & MTA MAC #s, no CMAC like the old modem)

All help and advice, appreciated.

T25 is not compatible with optimum. 

This modem is compatible only with Xfinity.

Appears Optimum has “Officially” dropped the T25 back in January 2023.

“Non-technical” help support informs me it was because of network ‘Enhancements’…...which they are unable to define.

Appears this has been a serious waist of time.
