Issue with phone on T25

T25:modem drops caller id after about one week of being online. Only way to restore is to power cycle modem.

T25 Modem self-reboots every 48 hours

I have a 2-year-old Arris T25 modem. Every two days between 9:30 am and 10:45 am, it reboots without any action by me. It’s been happening for weeks, and always two days between reboots, no more, no less. Is it the modem, or Xfinity? The event log always reads the same: PacketCable Events (Edited content with personal information) DOCSIS Events Four minutes before the reboot (Edited content with personal information) Just before the reboot (Edited content with personal information) When I check the status, all parameters are within the proper range, but I don’t have a reading from the moment the modem reboots. I'm trying to decide whether to replace the modem with the Netgear CM2050V-100NAS, or call Xfinity. Thanks.

I’m using EERO mesh wifi which works GREAT. We have Comcast/Xfinity for internet and voice. We want a router to tie into the T25 for our devices.

T25 constantly drops internet connection

Downstream power and snr look good but upstream is bad: I used to get all 5 upstream channels but about a month ago this is when I started having drops: Power is below spec. Is this a cable company issue or is the unit failing to output enough signal for the upstream?

T25 can't check or update firmware

I have a T25 modem and XFinity as my cable provider. Apparently I am not getting the internet speeds available because the firmware on my modem is not up to date. There is no information about the firmware version on the surfboard app that is connected to the device, and I'm also not able to log into the modem settings using the IP address and any browser. I just get an error message saying that that IP address cannot be accessed. Of course my warranty on the modem just ran out last month, and I do not want to pay $40 to access the surfboard customer service. Has anyone had this issue where they cannot locate the firmware version let alone log in to their account to update it? I am aware of the disputes between weather it is Xfinity or Arris that has the capacity to update the firmware. I was just on a very long phone call with Xfinity and they are insisting that it is nothing on their end to update the firmware. I have unplugged the modem several times to force a reset, but without be

Activate T25 without the label and with Xfinity blocking logon until I provide the MAC number

I recently purchased a used Arris T25, I later learned that there is no label, I know I can get the device information like serial number and Mac number if I can log onto the device, it appears to be connecting fine when I attach it to Xfinity coaxial cable, but Xfinity blocks use of the device until activation which requires Mac number. Is there any other way to get the information on this device?

I connected my T25 to Comcast finally and it’s working very well except that I do not have phone service yet. Do I need a separate connection with Comcast or how do I get the phone to work?

Slow speed internet connection on T25

My T25 is supposed to accommodate up to 800 MBPS. Xfinity assures that they’re providing 1000 MBPS, but I get only 400 MBPS. Please advise.

t25 cable modem power supply plug does not fit

i recent bought a Arris T25 cable modem pn 613587-003-00. The included power supply Ktec Ks051867 plug does not fit into the cable modem power input. I tried looking on the Arris support website for the model number of the ac adapter but could not find it. The ac adapter is 12V 2.5a so should work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Two phone number on one port - T25

Comcast provided me with two phone numbers. On my previous Arris modem they could configure the modem so both phone numbers were accessed thru one jack on the modem. Comcast claims this is not true on the T25. Must I use both jacks on the modem in order to have both phone numbers?

Dead T-25

I purchased a T-25 at Best Buy on June 5, 2024 and successfully activated for Internet and phone service with my provider. Today I returned home and all of the lights were off on the modem and I didn't have Internet or phone service. I tried resetting use the button on back but nothing. Can you provide any other troubleshooting advice or instructions for repair/replace? Thanks

Issue on Xfinity Stream with T25

I recently purchased and activated a new T25 modem with voice. Having a problem with the Xfinity Stream service. Xfinity stream works fine for a few days before becoming non-functioning on all devices. After many failed attempts to restore stream service, I've found that going through the modem activation prosess restores Xfinity Stream. Any suggestions on what to do to avoid repeating the activation procedure? Modem works fine otherwise.

Connecting Voice Modem to other phones - T25

I recently moved from my long time home to an apartment. I was receiving xfinity phone service through a voice modem and had numerous phone jacks in the house, all of which worked through the single modem’s connection. In my new apartment, I have a number of phone jacks but can’t find a way to make them work with my new Arris T25 Modem. Only the phone attached to either of the two outlets on the modem will be connected. I tried connecting the modem to one of the jacks, then nothing worked. Any thoughts? Thanks, SR
