Surfboard does not connect early morning on S33

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hi ,

I just returned my Xfinity Arris modem and got a SurfBoard S33. I have LinkSys mesh routers in both the cases that work OK

I have noticed early morning the Wifi connection does not work and Internet starts to works about 5 mins after connecting.

Can you pls suggest an fix for this ? Is there any upgrade that needs to be done as I bought this SurfBoard from Amazon ??

Thanks in advance

S33 is just a cable modem so to test the modem we need device for direct connection. Device like laptop or computer connect to the modem directly without router after restarting modem for a minute then check the internet. If the internet works fine on direct connection that confirms your modem working fine. If the light on the modem is not solid blue perform hard reset then check for internet connection.

After the Reset on S33 if you’re internet is not dropping and working fine so the modem is good not facing any issue ,  then do contact your router provider to change the Wi-Fi-channels to have proper Wi-Fi internet.
