We just hooked up teh Arris Surfboard modem. It is set up through our cable company but it is not showing up on the available wifi list.

You posted in the SB8200 forum which is a modem only device without any router/wifi capabiilty. Is that the device you have? Or what actual device do you have? (look at the label)

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
