Our S33 cable modem is less than a year old. It keeps losing Wave Cable/Astound internet connection while using an Arris NVG578HLX WiFi router. The S33 has already crapped out twice today, and it's getting worse. Now I get an intermittent “Privacy Warning: This device is blocking encrypted DNS traffic. The names of websites and servers your device access on this network may be monitored and recorded by other devices on this network."
What's wrong and how do I fix it?

S33 is just a cable modem, it's a plug-and-play device. To isolate the issue, connect any device directly and monitor the connection for 24 hours. If the internet still drops, we would suggest checking the cable signal levels. A cable signal level refers to the strength and quality of the signal that travels through the coaxial cable to provide your internet service.
Please refer to the link below on how to check the cable signal levels.
