I just installed my new iris modem S33 and xfinity is telling me it is not sending enough speed.And they're sending a technician. I'm thinking on returning this, as my 13 year old Motorola did better and it didn't even have the ability for speed. 

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm about to return this product and either install my old one or get a netgear.

Could you let us know whether the modem S33 is connected with any router or directly connected to the computer through ethernet cable?

Since you are experiencing the slow speed, please let us know the speed plan opted with internet service provider.

Also, I would suggest checking the cable signals to make sure all the signals are in range.
