I came home only the 1st w lights were lite up I've unplugged both modem and router box and after that it blinks yellow and goes back like it was no internet connection at all

did you check with the ISP? 

Can you log into it and check your cable connections? 

Please try connecting the modem to a different outlet and make sure the coaxial cable is properly connected.
