broadcast band 2.4g and 5g on SB6190

Have the SB6190, how do I choose which band to broadcast 2.4 or 5ghz?

The router makes the decision for you.

I would like to choose 2.4 due to some devises that require that band.

The router will send 2.4 if the device demands 2.4.  Routers are smart enough to decide which band to use.  Older routers may have two SSID names.

The SB6190 is a cable modem without built-in Wi-Fi, so it only works through a wired Ethernet connection.

To access Wi-Fi, I recommend connecting a router to the SB6190.

@mlingo5 what router do you have? the SB6190 doesn’t have any router/wifi capability as its a modem only device.
