I just connected a brand new SB6183, and have activated it in Xfinity.

 

When I power it on it cycles through green lights for power, down, up, and the online lights up green briefly.  Then lights go off and the up and down turn blue.

 

Nothing is plugged into the LAN side.  I tried plugging in my gateway and it couldn't be reached from Unifi.

 

I know it's not my connection because I just swapped out an Arris surfboard.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated 

In this case even the power on the modem going off then we would suggest you to try using different power outlet or using different power cable. If the power stays solid without internet then perform hard reset on the modem without coax and then check for the service.  To reset modem please, disconnect the coaxial cable from the back of the device? At the back of the modem, in the middle section you will see a small hole, inside that hole there is a button, and that is the reset button, please insert a paper clip or a tip of a pen and hold it for 15-30 seconds until all your lights go off, afterwards connect the coax cable back and wait until your device fully boots up.
