i’ve been trying to set up my modem to no avail
i had this modem and a tplink router set up at my previous address, using xfinity
i’m trying to install it now, but the globe button won’t turn on and connect to the internet. i called xfinity and they said it all looks good on their end. i’ve unplugged and reset a few times, but still nothing.
The globe is the online connection. If xfinity says it looks good, it should be lit up.
Are you able to log into the modem with a pc/laptop and see its cable connections page and event logs?
I’d also have them try to reprovision it.
i have yet to try logging in with a laptop- could you link a page on how to do that/provide further instruction? thank you!
