I’d like to open some ports to my arris surfboard router?

How do I do this?

SB8200 is just a cable modem its like plug and play device and it doesn't have any advanced configuration so opening ports or port forwarding can be done only on the router. Please do contact your router manufacturer to check with the steps for opening ports.
